Low energy consumption is the key that allows this refrigerator to be cost effectively powered from solar, wind, fuel cells or batteries. Daily energy consumption depends on ambient temperature (the temperature outside the fridge). At an ambient temperature of 90 degrees F (32 degrees C), it's rated to use only 114 Wh/day (9.6 Ah/day). This refrigerator will run on a single 45W module in most climates!
