This new model has been updated to 600mA maximum charge rate.
The lightweight and durable PowerFilm flexible solar panels are integrated with the fabric keeping the weight of the solar charger less than 4 spare batteries.
Includes 2 AAA to AA adapters to charge AAA batteries.
2 batteries will charge at 600mA charge rate and 4 batteries will charge at 300mA charge rate. Approximate charge time is 3-4 hours for 2 batteries and 6-7 hours for 4 batteries, depending on battery capacity.
Charging circuitry maximizes charge into the batteries and LED indicator lights dispay charging status and charge completion.
Six grommets allow for secure fastening to a pack or to the ground.
These solar chargers have been used by the US military for a number of years and are now available to consumers.
