| |  This is a really simple solar battery charger using the PowerFilm 3.6V 100ma flexible solar panel. These flexible solar modules can wrap around a 2" pole!
We've simply soldered a 2 AA or AAA holder to the solar panel. 2 -1400's batteries would require about 14 hours of sun to fully charge. AAA's would require about 7 hours.
Blocking diode soldered inline prevents power from leaking during nightime.

Panel measures about 3" X 6".
Use this little charger for your own project or a homemade backpacking charger. Wires could be cut and lengthened as needed for your application. Have fun!
