| |  This is a really simple solar battery charger using the PowerFilm 3.6V 100mA flexible solar panel. These flexible solar modules can wrap around a 2" pole!
BLocking diode prevents reverse current flow when there's no sun on the panel.
Includes 2 Ni-Mh (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries, either 1700mAh AA's or 900mAh AAA's. If completely discharged, the AA batteries would require about 17 hours of sun to fully charge, the AAA's about 9 hours.
Panel measures about 3" X 6".
Includes blocking diode.
Use this little charger for your own project or a homemade backpacking charger. Wires could be cut and lengthened as needed for your application.
