The new Pure Energy Battery Charger comes with the USB adapter that plugs directly into the female socket on the solar panel. Just put in full sun (with good orientation towards the sun) and start charging!. Also includes 115V AC adapter for household charging. Charges 1-4 AA or AAA rechargeable batteries. Solar panel includes about 6 feet of cable.
The Pure Energy Charger will charge both NiMH and rechargeable alkaline batteries. You can even combine any size or type in the battery charger and this "smart" charger will know how to charge each battery correctly and stop when they're full.
At maximum solar exposure the charger will charge batteries at 350mA rate.
Solar charger will also charge your cellphone, iPhone, iPod and other devices thorugh the included USB adapter or the female lighter socket.
Tip! Some window glass uses UV inhibitors that can drastically reduce the power output of your solar panel. Try to place panel outside in direct sun.
